Dani’s “Chopped” Contest and Giveaway!

I know you’ve watched Chopped … of course you have! Who doesn’t love a good Chopped filled with pork brains, gummy teeth and other random ingredients that no one, I mean no one has in their cabinet. I mean seriously, if the chefs on the show don’t have any idea how to make something with the guts of a chicken what hope do the rest of us have? So it got me thinking… Every night is Chopped night in our house! And probably yours too!

Just think of the last dinner you cooked when you haven’t been to the store in a week. You had leftovers that smell off a bit… fruit going bad and rock hard frozen Chicken breast from the last time you went to Costco which was before your last highlight…. and your roots have grown out substantially. So what do you do?

You have a starving spouse, a hungry child and you absolutely will not order Pizza…again. You are now in your very own personal Chopped episode!

So today I give you a wonderful opportunity to

be the Star of Dani’s “Chopped”Dish!

  1. Oh man, this is great! I’m not sure I qualify since I’m family, but I might give it a shot anyway. 🙂 (Just for the fun of it.) Can you use other spices, olive oil, and such in your cabinet? I haven’t seen Chopped, so I don’t know what wiggle room there is.

    1. You qualify! Friends and family are welcome to play! Have fun with it, and I look forward to seeing what everyone creates! Yes you can use ANYTHING you have to add to the ingredients, you just have to use the ingredients somehow. Check back for more info on your judges! 🙂
Thanks and please start watching Chopped in your “free” time haha…you would love it.

  2. Spinach and beans (pureed with goat cheese) stuffed into the pork chop , glazed with the syrup and crusted with the ritz crackers, peanuts (blended till fine) . Baked.
